CBD Oil For Anxiety

CBD Oil For AnxietyCBD has been getting an incredible buzz lately. It suddenly appears on the shelves of every health food store, and it seems CBD makers have no shortage of imaginative ways to mix it into varieties of foods and drinks. According to them, it can treat several medical conditions, including nervousness. So, would you say they are right?

What is CBD?

CBD stands for cannabidiol. It is one of many synthetic compounds found in marijuana (cannabis) Sativa plants, a product that contains hemp and marijuana. Another synthetic element found in these plants is tetrahydrocannabinol known as THC, which is responsible for the “high” feeling associated with marijuana. Many, but not every CBD product is extracted from cannabis plants. The amount of THC in hemp will generally be extremely low, while in marijuana plants it tends to be much higher.

Lately, CBD has been advertised as a therapy for various medical conditions, including:

  • Anxiety
  • Cancer
  • Alzheimer
  • Parkinson
  • Depression
  • Chronic pain

Regardless, the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) has just approved one CBD drug, Epidiolex, for the treatment of two serious types of epilepsy: Lennox-Gastaut syndrome and Dravet syndrome. It also approved the drug for the treatment of seizures related to the tuberculosis-sclerosis complex.

CBD is considered a treatment for different circumstances but has not yet been approved as a treatment.

Could CBD Oil help stress?

Currently, the way CBD oil treats anxiety is still abstract. Some scientific studies have shown that it might work by influencing serotonin levels in the brain. Serotonin is a substance in the human body that plays a role in controlling mood, digestion, sleep, and behavior.

Studies suggest that increasing serotonin levels can help treat Anxiety. However, some medications, such as antidepressants, work by controlling serotonin levels, and some studies suggest that CBD may work in much the same way as anti-depression and anti-anxiety medications.

What’s the ideal dose and how can a person take CBD for anxiety?

There is no exact known dose of CBD that is made to help treat anxiety. Studies have shown that doses of 300mg to 600mg reduce anxiety in some people with social anxiety issues. Either way, more precise research should decide a perfect dose.

As for how to take it, there are several products types in which CBD is included, including:

  • CBD Oils
  • Drops
  • Capsules
  • Gummies
  • Vapor
  • Teas

Unfortunately, since the FDA does not look at these products, there is no uniform naming system or certified approval that you can seek to ensure these items are protected. States can filter them, but the administrative system is intertwined and has not taken into account the growing fame of CBD.

CBD has become a so-called “quick fix” for a wide range of health problems, including Anxiety. Examination of concerns is promising but is limited by small sample sizes and a lack of data on long-term impacts. We want more studies to know precisely if this is a protected and viable treatment.

CBD Oil For CancerCBD is really simple to find and buy, but keep in mind that not everything is perfect. The components and measurement of CBD in the label may not match what is in the container. Its legitimacy is also unclear, so you may need to explore your state’s regulations regarding its ownership and use.
