Dear Friends:
Two years ago, President Obama stated his administration would not take action against medicinal marijuana dispensaries in states where the use of marijuana is legal.
Last week, this claim was drastically and swiftly negated by letters sent out by the U.S. Department of Justice attorneys, demanding many California law-abiding businesses close.
We ask you, is this decision better for the state of California, or is it causing more harm than good?
Our publisher, Jeff Von Kaenel, has written an open letter to President Obama arguing the points of this very question. In a state where budget deficits are always an issue, what is the economic impact of this decision?
